Class Schedule

On Command offers beginner and advanced classes, at multiple locations, all throughout the year. Please review the class descriptions below to determine which class is best for you and your dog!

Dog Training 101:
Beginner Course, $145.00
On Command classes run for 6 weeks. The beginner course is for dogs that have not received any dog training. Your dog will learn the following commands:
  • down/sit from the left-hand side
  • down/sit from in front of, at the end of the leash
  • heel with autosit
  • recall (come)
  • finish to the heel
  • hand signals for all of the above commands
One dog per person! No exceptions!

Dog Training 202:
Advanced Course, $145.00
On Command classes run for 6 weeks. The advanced course is for dogs with full obedience training and is now ready for off-leash work. The class will cover:
  • all the same commands above, now off leash
  • working with training tabs
  • working with long lines
  • jumps
  • tube work
  • place mats
  • hand signals for all learned commands
  • heel, sit and down in motion
Puppy Class, $145.00
Puppies do not have the attention span for a one-hour class, but they benefit greatly from socialization with other dogs. You may register your puppy for our 101 course, attend, and learn as much as your puppy is ready for. When your dog matures, attend the beginner class again for FREE.

Private In-Home Sessions, $300.00
For $300, you and your dog receive 5 one-hour sessions on Wednesdays, in your home. Private tutoring gives you and your dog more personal attention. The trainer handles the dog, and works directly with the owner to show handling techniques. Available only on Wednesdays!
Doggy Boot Camp, $475.00
For just $475, your dog will be boarded and trained at our On Command Boarding facilities. Boot Camp takes one week. This is one of the fastest and most economical ways to get your dog trained! The trainer will make a follow-up visit to your home to ensure that your dog's new-found knowledge is still in place. Cost of Boot Camp includes boarding. Must bring own food. If you are uncertain which class your dog belongs in, attend a beginner course. You will be advanced to the next class based on your dog's readiness.
