On Command Training Programs
All programs begin on leash and with practice and proof of efficiency can evolve into off leash training. Our goal is that with completion of a training program you will feel more comfortable and confident taking your dog into public places. We want you to have the control you need for your pet to enjoy the freedoms you love! In order for our training programs to be successful, it is imperative for owners to work at home to change patterns and behaviors as instructed by our trainers. 14-3 Training Program: $1795
14 Nights In Residence
3 Follow-Up Lessons
This program is designed to establish and enhance effective dog/owner communication. Your dog will stay at On Command for 14 full training days and will be taught the following commands: HEEL with Automatic-SIT, SIT at your side, DOWN at your side, SIT and DOWN from the front, STAY, and COME. Your dog will be taught to respond to both verbal commands and visual hand signals. This program includes a chain training collar and/or a training prong collar, and a 6ft Leather leash. (Additional tools purchased separately as needed.) You will also be given three private follow-up lessons where you as the handler will learn to properly execute your dog's new commands.
Your first lesson will take place upon pick up. Your following two lessons will include instruction at On Command's indoor or enclosed outdoor training areas. During these lessons there will be an emphasis on diversifying your dog's understanding of commands, performing commands with distractions present, and advice on handling any unwanted behaviors.
3 Follow-Up Lessons
This program is designed to establish and enhance effective dog/owner communication. Your dog will stay at On Command for twenty-one full training days and will be taught the following commands: HEEL with Automatic-SIT, SIT at your side, DOWN at your side, SIT and DOWN from the front, STAY, COME, FINISH and PLACE. Your dog will be taught to respond to both verbal commands and visual hand signals. As part of the program, your dog will receive a chain training collar and/or a training prong collar, a 6-foot leather leash, a long line, and a place mat that will be used in teaching the Place command. (Additional tools purchased separately as needed.)
